Dear Miranda, firstly yes, it is mid January now – this random person is, as usual, playing catch up. I was particularly looking forward to listening to this episode. Our fathers’ shared birthday (though 5 years apart) as we know, that now takes me back to you and I sitting chatting near to your grandmother’s house, pondering for a moment with amusement whether yet another coincidence in our lives could have possibly been more than that…! And now adding that I too have lived in my little house here for 30 years, although that anniversary was September. But also I wanted to share with you that I have been reading an article, written by you, detailing the history of your house that you spoke of a couple of episodes before this one. I won’t attempt to add the link here, as I know links, quite sensibly, cause comments to be hurled down into the deepest dungeon of suspicion never to be seen again. But a Google search of your address in quotation marks will bring it up (and it occurs to me you may have shared it already and I’ve missed it or forgotten). I found it very interesting. I’m sure leaving will be hard, but I hope you find somewhere lovely and perfect for you. Now I have more catching up to do… 🙂
