Happy to hear you are doing well .It feels very interesting to read about courages persons who dare to return to the essence of life without all the fuss created by society , technology and so called “progress” , even it must be challenging I am sure it will be resulting in a kind of freedom most of us forget about .
Enjoy your longer bright days for bike rides and walks and cross fingers less wind .
I must put my trowel ready to dig buttercups before I take my next walk. I half remember my mother telling us that if a golden glow appeared when you held a buttercup to your chin it held some meaning – but what that might have been entirely escapes me!
While I often wish I were better at weaning myself off technology, it has enable me to get to meet and be in touch with people (like you) even though I live so far away. So yes to less reliance, but no cold turkey for me.
Good to hear from you again, Miranda, and I hope you find some buttercups for your garden.
