Yes I think it’s so interesting the power of recording a few things about each day. Just the act of sifting through what has happened for the highlights to note down (which I do most days) does consolidate the experiences and give them more weight somehow. Almost gives them more meaning? Or places them into the story of our lives, perhaps.
It’s amazing that your mother kept diaries for so much of her life and it’s nice to see the connection to that with your podcasts.
