Wow, Sydney! Well done Miranda for making that leap at this time. I recognise that reticence (fear even?) of leaving the familiar for a while, especially when things are so unsettled. My sudden unavoidable trip to London recently for emergency eye surgery shook me (quite violently!) out of two years plus of not leaving home due to the pandemic, but it was undeniably quite an adventure. Being always intrigued, entranced, curious about and interested in everything around us is to my mind a wonderful gift to have been given. Returning then to the familiar place we were reluctant to leave, we find inevitably it has – or rather we have – changed and the way forward is different to how it might have been. Jx
Wauw Miranda how great to hear you did made it to Sydney , now a days it feels more challenging than before to leave our “save cave” but I think once we are there it feels good to be out of our routine or our comfortzone . So glad to catch up again while I am in my garden enjoying the beautiful “normal summer” weather while I am ‘wrestling’ to unraven a knitted sweater I never worn as it was to oversized but I hope to re-use the beautiful wool as it is super soft Alpaca Silk in a raspberry rose. Glad I had your company , always thanks for sharing your ‘escapades’ , keep well !
